OVERVIEW

DeLone Dawisha is an experienced attorney who represents clients in business, real estate, and construction law matters. Following his tenure as a corporate associate at Honigman LLP, a leading Midwest law firm, he founded Dawisha Law with a mission to provide clients with the same level of professionalism and experience expected from larger firms, but with the added benefit of personalized attention and cost-effective service.

DeLone's approach to business law is grounded in a deep understanding of the business objectives and priorities of his clients. He serves as outside general counsel to clients on a wide range of business law matters, including entity formation, governance, financing, contracts, employment, and regulatory compliance. He works closely with clients to help them identify and mitigate risks, develop tailored solutions, and achieve their long-term goals.

DeLone has closed numerous business and real estate transactions on behalf of his clients, with transaction values ranging from a few million dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars. He assists clients with all aspects of their transactions, including structuring deals, conducting legal due diligence, preparing disclosures, and drafting and negotiating contracts to protect his clients' interests.

DeLone has also been an essential partner to construction project stakeholders in navigating the complex legal and regulatory environment of the construction industry. He advises parties involved in construction projects on all aspects of Michigan construction law, including construction project planning and contract drafting and negotiation for all phases of construction projects. His experience extends to dispute resolution, particularly in claims involving breach of contract, construction defects, payment disputes, and project delays.
